APMP–AOAC SEA Workshop: Agenda Released & Call for Participation

MOSH MOAH Workshop Recap

The AOAC SEA Emerging Issues working group has marked another success of hosting International Workshop for MOSH MOAH Analysis in Foods, with more than 100 participants this time in Yogyakarta Indonesia from 10-11 Sept 2025.

Thanks to our esteemed co-host - Persatuan Pengawas Farmasi dan Makanan Indonesia (BPOM-PPFMI) for making this scientific workshop extraordinary through efficient coordination and laboratory tour in a harmonius town of Yogyarkata.

The workshop highlighted the need of robust and harmonised testing method to build a strong mitigation plan that support regional regulatory implementation.

Update from AOAC SEA Working Group on Method for Pesticide Residue in Spices

Dear All,

Please find below Letter from Co-Chair regarding a Call for Financial Contributors to support our ongoing project. It may be of interest to you and your organizations, as it presents a meaningful opportunity to contribute - either financially or through in-kind support - to help advance our shared goals of harmonizing testing methods to protect food safety and facilitate trade.

We’d be grateful if you could take a moment to review the attached letter and consider how you or your organization might be able to support, or help spread the word within your networks.

We wish to also share with you that our Working Group will be organizing a 2nd roundtable discussion session in collaboration with Minor Use Foundation again at the upcoming 2025 AOAC SEA 4th Annual Conference to discuss with various stakeholders about challenges and opportunities in pesticide residue analysis and regulatory measures for herbs and spices in global trade.
